MORAY FIGURE SKATING CLUB

The children who attend the club on a Friday Night are dedicated and also help maintain the club. These children help throughout the year with fund raising, and different events and most have been part of the club for several years.

Friday nights are designed for children to have good fun with their friends and most of all learning to skate safely, and in the correct way through the Learn to skate UK programme, coached by Graeme and Sue.

Beginners up to Gold Star 5.15pm − 7.15pm
Lessons begin at 5.15pm

Club Fees

Fees can be paid by cash, direct debit, standing order. We also accept payment by cheque if you wish, but as the club are charged £35 by the bank for each returned cheque, those intending to pay via cheque will have to fill out a form accepting responsibility for this bank charge if applied. Although we accept weekly payments members are encouraged to pay their fees monthly as this helps the club as we have to pay for the ice in 10 session blocks in advance.

First week - FREE

Thereafter you can attend for three weeks at a fee of £5.00 then a membership should be applied for.  

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES

This is renewable on 1st of March and must be paid by the end of clubs financial year which is the 31st March.

Single Skate UK Membership £20
Family Skate UK Membership £30

Weekly Subs

As of April 1st 2011 weekly subs will increase to £5.00. This is mainly due to an increase in the cost of ice time. Fees are accepted on a weekly or monthly basis. Each skater MUST inform the club via letter/email/text of any planned absences at the start of each month.
Skate UK levels 9 and above can still attend on a friday night session and access middle ice and the disco for the cost of £1.00

COMPETITIVE SKATERS

Competitive Skaters Membership £40

Fees for competitive skaters will remain unchanged at present. (these are under review)
