It matters not whether you intend skating recreationally, want to be the next star of Dancing on Ice or compete nationally/internationally, everyone has the same objective; improving their skills. Regardless of skill level, most will have utilised the National Ice Skating Association (NISA) Skate UK, Learn to Skate course (or something similar). Here at MFSC, we follow the NISA format and are a recognised and approved Figure Skating Club aligned to NISA. The Skate UK model is the perfect way of learning to skate safely and in a progressive manner. We run the Skate UK programme every Saturday at the Moray Leisure Centre Ice Rink from 10.45am – 1.15pm.

Over-Gold has been reintroduced to cater for the needs of skaters who have passed Gold Star, but do not want to compete at national level competitions. This level will be for skaters who want to continue to improve their skating skills recreationally and they will continue to be coached by our internationally accredited coaches.
