Skating from the age of 4, Rowena won her first competition when she was 9 and still competes in British and International competitions in which she has won numerous medals and trophies. Rowena has passed the Senior competitive long programme and Junior competitive short programme, has been Scottish Junior Champion twice, and has been the Reserve for the Junior Grand Prix events. She has been a member of the GB International Development Squad and has competed in the British National Championships at Novice, Junior and Senior level.
She became a qualified NISA Coach in 2014 and is now Level 2. She regularly trains in Sheffield, at International Camps with World Class trainers and with Specialist Choreographers. This not only keeps her up to date with the changing style of figure skating, but the techniques she learns also benefit those that she teaches.
