Moray Figure Skating Club skater Ruby Boyd rubbed shoulders with some of the best figure skaters from all over Europe including Britain’s top ranked and current men’s Senior British Champion Phillip Harris. She was recently selected to represent Great Britain at the 34th Volvo Open Cup at the Volvo Arena in Riga, Latvia. This was Ruby’s first international event where she competed against some very stiff competition, including national champions. Ruby performed exceptionally well and finished a very credible fifth and attained a total score 36.27.
