The Aberdeen Opens 2017 was a fantastic venue for Emma Jane Marandola, aged 12, who qualified for the British Figure Skating Championships, which will be held in Sheffield in Nov/Dec 2017. EJ’s qualification was earned with a great skate in Aberdeen that also saw her achieve a bronze, against a very strong field of skaters from all over the UK, and also an added bonus of a personal best score. EJ has worked exceptionally hard to qualify for the Championships. To qualify for this is a huge achievement and very few reach the stiff criteria set by the National Ice Skating Association and is recognition of the hard work and many hours spent on the ice. Absolutely amazing EJ.
