Moray Figure Skating Club skater Ruby Boyd was awarded the Moray Junior Sports Athlete Award at a recent awards ceremony. Against a field of some very talented individuals, she was short-listed and selected as the winner because of her figure skating achievements. Given the quality of the other contenders, some internationalists in their own sport, this was a remarkable recognition for the young skater.
